MenuPro ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at menupro.ai. Please read this policy carefully. By using MenuPro, you agree to the practices described here.
When you register for MenuPro, we collect your full name, email address, restaurant name, and password (stored as a secure hash). This information is required to create and manage your account.
We store the menu items, categories, descriptions, images, and pricing information you upload or create within the platform. This data belongs to you and is used solely to power your digital menu.
We collect anonymized data about how your customers interact with your menu — including page views, item clicks, session duration, and category engagement. This data is aggregated and used to provide you with analytics insights.
Subscription payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or billing details on our servers.
We automatically collect IP addresses, browser type, device type, and operating system information for security, fraud prevention, and service improvement purposes.
To provide, maintain, and improve the MenuPro platform, including your digital menu, QR codes, analytics dashboard, and AI features.
To send you transactional emails (account confirmations, subscription updates, credit alerts) and, with your consent, product updates and tips.
Menu content you provide may be processed by our AI systems to generate descriptions, translations, and optimization suggestions. This processing is done securely. User data is not used to train third-party AI models.
To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, abuse, and other illegal activities.
To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to any third party under any circumstances. Your personal information is never shared for marketing or commercial purposes outside of MenuPro.
We share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform — including cloud hosting (Supabase), payment processing, and email delivery. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may not use it for any other purpose.
AI features use OpenAI's API. Content submitted for AI processing is subject to OpenAI's data usage policies. We do not send personally identifiable information to AI providers. User data is not used to train third-party AI models.
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.
If your subscription expires or a renewal payment fails, access to the MenuPro platform is suspended immediately — there is no grace period. Your QR menus and tablet menus will also stop working and display a subscription-expired message to your customers until the subscription is renewed.
Following subscription expiry, payment failure, or cancellation, your account data (menus, items, images, settings, and analytics) is retained for 14 days. During this window you may reactivate your subscription to restore full access. After 14 days, all data associated with your account is permanently and irreversibly deleted. You will need to create a new account, subscribe again, and re-enter all your data.
If you voluntarily delete your account, all personal data will be permanently deleted immediately. No recovery is possible after account deletion.
Accounts inactive for more than 12 months may be subject to data cleanup. We will notify you before any deletion occurs.
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you in a portable format.
You can update your account information at any time through your account settings.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at hello@menupro.ai.
You can opt out of non-transactional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.
We support two-factor authentication (2FA) for your account. We strongly recommend enabling it.
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required by applicable law.
We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the platform to function — including session authentication and security tokens. These cannot be disabled.
With your consent, we use analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used and to improve the user experience.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
